As a wedding photographer, I use several different tools every day to keep my workflow as efficient as possible. From culling thousands of photos and editing galleries to sending invoices and designing wedding albums. Over the years, I’ve built a workflow that saves me a huge amount of time and allows me to focus on what I love most: photographing weddings.

Narrative Select
Before I start editing, I first cull all my images in Narrative Select. After a wedding, I often come home with thousands of photos and this software saves me from spending hours scrolling through every single one. Narrative Select uses helpful colour indicators to quickly show which images have closed eyes, out-of-focus faces or duplicates. It makes the culling process so much faster and leaves me with more time for the creative side of my work.

Aftershoot
After culling my photos, I import them into Aftershoot. The software takes care of the basic edits using my own Lightroom editing profile, so I don’t have to start from scratch with every single image. Instead, I can focus on the photos that need a little extra attention.

Lightroom Classic
Almost all of my editing happens in Lightroom Classic. From colour corrections and masking to removing distractions and adding the finishing touches. My workflow simply wouldn’t be complete without Lightroom.
I use Lightroom together with my own AI editing profile in Aftershoot, which makes the two work perfectly together.
SmartAlbums
I use SmartAlbums to design my wedding albums. It’s incredibly fast and easy to work with, allowing me to create a professional album design in no time.
My favourite feature is Cloud Proofing. It allows my couples to view their album online, leave comments and request changes directly. It makes the entire album process much easier and more organised for both me and my clients.
Pic-Time
I deliver all my wedding galleries through Pic-Time. Couples can view and download their photos, share them with family and friends and easily order prints or albums directly from their gallery.

Canva
I use Canva almost every day. Pretty much everything you see from my business has been created in Canva at some point. From Instagram Stories and brochures to proposals, e-books, presentations and ads.
It’s my go-to tool for creating professional designs quickly, without having to open complicated design software.
Calendly
No more endless back-and-forth emails trying to find a date that works. With Calendly, clients can simply choose a time that’s available in my calendar.
I use it for introductory calls, mentoring sessions and pre-wedding shoots. It saves me a lot of time and makes the whole booking experience much smoother for my clients too.
Moneybird
I’ve been using Moneybird for my bookkeeping for years. I manage my proposals, invoices, online payments, VAT returns and administration all in one place.
